How does SmartLipo Triplex® work? This laser assisted lipolysis procedure is performed using a small cannula (or tube) about the size of the tip of the pen, which is inserted under the skin. The laser delivers energy directly to the fat cells through the cannula, causing them to rupture.
The liquefied fat is then gently suctioned out. New collagen is produced, resulting in tissue tightening. The three laser wavelengths contained in SmartLipo Triplex® allow your physician to customize treatments based on the nature of your concerns.
Abdominoplasty, also called a tummy tuck, is a procedure in which the loose skin and tissue around the tummy area is re-sculpted to eliminate the excess skin and sagging that is often due to weight loss, pregnancy, aging, and other factors.
The tummy tuck is the most common procedure for flattening the stomach. The procedure consists of eliminating excess fat, to tighten the underlying stomach muscles, and to tighten the skin, leaving patients with a trimmer, more attractive waist.
